you even got free? music to use for the video!
@thesoulofjapan There should be a recent photo on the maple page of? the kuromatsubonsai website.
@jelibeatable Do? you have a photo of your tree?
I want to see it.
very nice, but you really? should have stopped for a Choco Taco
First of all, great video, second, nice shirt.. just got a red japanese maple for $19 on sale at our local ACE store. its about 3.5 ft tall? with great foliage. I just started with the hobby 2 weeks ago and have just a little idea about how to go about through pictures and google. anyway, glad I tuned in..
Hey man, I have a 4 year old maple tree ( not sure on species, leaves have 3 points, trident?) the stupid nursery cut the? trunk in the middle and now it has two same length trunks, should i cut one in half to maintain the triangle taper?
Beautiful, where did you get this tree? And How much did? it cost? Also, can I grow it in California weather?
I just started my bonsai hobby a couple weeks ago and decided I wanted my next bonsai to be maple! I’m getting mine from Home Depot (They have a ton of them for cheap) and I just ordered a bonsai pot, wire, moss, and am using current tools I have in my garage! I was curious, if what you do in the Juniper to Bonsai video would work on? this species?
What is? the cultivar?
Fantastic as usual.?
Wow! You are master? sculpture! Great job, you really transformed that tree. I wish I had that eye
i really like your videos, i just bought a japanese red maple (bloodgood) and want to start doing bonsai but i dont know whether to make this one into a bonsai or let? it grow and just take clippings off it and create those into bonsai, what is your opinion?
@simeksurf I have five 5 gal Himalayan Cedar trees in my backyard, waiting to be shaped and planted in a group planting — they will be a subject for a future video. Look for a tree about 5-6 ft tall with? a good shape on the lower trunk, because Himalayan Cedar is impossible to shape with wire.
I want to make a bonsai out of a himalayan cedar but i don’t know how big? the starter tree should be(max 3ft bonsai) and for what should i be looking, sow that my work would be easier(rookie)?
thanks
Thanks for the update, Charles.? Great stuff, ‘mate’.
Cheers.
Nice.?
Great? work! Happy Bonsai.
Looking? good
theres allways? time for ice cream!
Great video as usual. Can’t wait to see how? the tree develops.
